It stands for the mythical creation of the island of Zeeland. After which the King of Sweden granted Gifjon all the land she could plow in a single night. She immediately turned her 4 sons into oxen and plowed away. The earth she upturned got thrown into the sea between Fyn and Skane, now Zeeland and the trench left behind is now a lake west of Stockholm.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;p&gt;Am Kastellet finden wir diesen Springbrunnen mit der nordischen G\u00f6ttin Gefion. Er steht f\u00fcr die mythische Entstehung der Insel Seeland. Demnach versprach der schwedische K\u00f6nig Gylfi Gefion, dass sie alles Land behalten k\u00f6nne, welches sie in einer Nacht pfl\u00fcgen k\u00f6nne. Daraufhin verwandelte sie ihre vier S\u00f6hne in Ochsen. Die gepfl\u00fcgte Erde wurde ins Meer  zwischen F\u00fcnen und Sk\u00e5ne geworfen, so entstand die Insel Seeland.
