Off the Island Hallands V\u00e4der\u00f6 are supposed to be lobsters, so we decide: we will go diving! Unfortunately, we didn’t meet any lobster, but still have a very good dive only down to 10 meters deep. A few days after this dive the lobster season for the fishermen started and with the help of hundreds of lobster baskets and buoys we also know now that we were diving in the wrong place to meet them. But despite the crazy amount of lobster baskets and the knowledge that the lobster season still goes till the end of November, we still remain optimistic that we will see a lobster at one of our next dives. Now, however, we have to organize again the air for our dive tanks, which is not so easy without a car and after the end of summer season. <\/span> How great would it be to have our own dive compressor on board!!!\u00a0\u00a0 \"\"<\/span><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Vor Hallands V\u00e4der\u00f6 soll es auch Hummer geben, also steht fest: Wir gehen tauchen! Leider treffen wir keine Hummer an, erleben aber trotzdem einen sehr guten Tauchgang in bis zu 10 Meter Wassertiefe. Ein paar Tage nach unserem Tauchgang startete die Hummersaison f\u00fcr die Fischer und anhand von hunderten ausgebrachten Hummerk\u00f6rben wissen wir nun auch, dass wir an der falschen Stelle abgetaucht sind. Doch trotz der verr\u00fcckten Menge an Hummerk\u00f6rben und dem Wissen, dass die Hummersaison noch bis Ende November geht, bleiben wir aber trotzdem optimistisch, dass wir noch Hummer sehen werden bei einem unserer n\u00e4chsten Tauchg\u00e4nge. Nun m\u00fcssen wir aber erstmal wieder Luft f\u00fcr unsere Tauchflaschen organisieren, das ist ohne Auto und nach Ende der Sommersaison gar nicht so einfach. Wie fein w\u00e4re doch ein eigener Tauchkompressor!!!<\/p>\n

In the south western part of the island there is a no go zone made for the seals, many of which visited our boat on the other side.

Im S\u00fcdwesten der Insel gibt es sogar ein Naturschutzgebiet, das ganzj\u00e4hrig gesperrt ist f\u00fcr jegliche Nutzung. Die Robben erobern aber alle Seiten der Insel und kommen auch regelm\u00e4\u00dfig an unserem Boot vorbei. <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

We still try our luck, the seals stay at a distance. We always like to inspect our anchor and are sure that it has set properly.

Wir gehen trotzdem ins Wasser, neugierige Robben kommen uns nicht zu nahe. Wir \u00fcberzeugen uns immer erstmal gern davon, dass der Anker seinen Dienst gut erf\u00fcllt! <\/div> <\/div>

From the boat we could make out the occasional fiery jelly and we make sure to stay well clear of them under water. However they are quite majestic.

Wir sehen vom Boot aus viele giftige Feuerquallen. Davor h\u00fcten wir uns beim Tauchen lieber! Trotzdem sind sie sehr elegant! <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

And we ran into a school of fish. Or it ran into us \ud83d\ude42 Probably young Coalfish that were encircling us. Who knows what they were trying to say with the multitude of swim patterns.

Und wir treffen einen Fischschwarm! Oder er trifft uns \ud83d\ude42 Es sind vermutlich junge Seelachse, die um uns herum schwimmen. Auseinander – zusammen – auseinander – wieder zusammen…. Welche Botschaft wollten sie uns wohl mitteilen? <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

There’s much to discover in an on the sand. Here a crab is munching on a polycheat and the flounder watches and drools. Mark too is drooling, but more at the sight of the flounder.

Im und auf dem Sandboden versteckt sich auch ne Menge: Hier futtert die Strandkrabbe ein W\u00fcrmchen und die Flunder schaut sabbernd zu. Und Mark sabbert auch schon, aber eher wegen der Flunder \ud83d\ude42 <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

And here’s a different flounder. They can switch colors and hide on different grounds.

Und hier eine eher dunkel gef\u00e4rbte Flunder. Sie k\u00f6nnen ihre Hautfarbe ver\u00e4ndern und an den Meeresboden anpassen. <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>
