Autumn is comming
Der Herbst hält Einzug.
From Helsingborg we sailed further northwards to Höganäs. Dine went swimming in the Baltic, let’s see if it will be the last time for this year in the Baltic? Mark only goes with a neoprene suit in these temperatures 🙂 Afterwards the mountains of Kullen fascinated us and we landed in the small village of Mölle at the foot of this peninsula. Here are a few impressions from our second week in Sweden. ⛵ Von Helsingborg segeln wir weiter nordwärts nach Höganäs. Dine badet nochmal in der Ostsee, mal sehen, ob es das letzte Ostseebad in diesem Jahr bleiben wird. Mark geht sowieso nur noch in Neopren in dieser Zeit des Jahres in diesen Breitengraden 🙂 Und dann ziehen uns die Berge der Halbisel Kullen magisch an und wir landen in dem kleinen Dörfchen Mölle am Fuße der Halbinsel. Hier gibt ein paar Impressionen aus dieser zweiten Schweden-Woche.
Höganäs has many art installations throughout the city to stumble over. I hope he’s not cold 🙂 In Höganäs gibt es jede Menge öffentliche Kunstwerke im Städtchen zu bestaunen.
And lots of pretty flower arrangements. Und viele tolle Blumenarrangements!
Finally Mark assembles our dingy!!! We were a bit lazy, cause it’s soo big and takes forever to build. Mark baut endlich unser Beiboot auf!!! Da es ziemlich groß ist, waren wir bisher etwas faul.
One of the valves is leaking, so it’s promptly changed. Ein Ventil pfeift und wird vorsorglich ausgewechselt.
Tadaa -it’s afloat! Tadaaa – es schwimmt!
We immediately take it out for a spin. Wir drehen gleich eine Runde im Hafen.
Zum Glück packen wir die Paddel ein, denn im Tank war nicht mehr sooo viel Benzin drin, wie gedacht.
Back at the boat our dinner was already waiting! But this one got away. Zurück am Liegeplatz, wartet schon das Abendessen unter unserem Boot. Aber die Flunder durfte weiterleben 😉
The water here is sii much clearer than in Stralsund. The locals say: this isn’t the Baltic, it’s the Kattegat! This is a bit of the growth on the jetty, polyps, barnicals and clams. Das Wasser ist hier selbst im Hafen so klar! Kein Vergleich zu Stralsund. Die Einheimischen sagen: Das hier ist nicht mehr Ostsee, sondern das Kattegat 🙂 Hier seht ihr den Bewuchs am Bootssteg: Seepocke, Miesmuschel und jede Menge Polypen.
Our paper charts only last up to Mölle. A new backup must be aquired! But unfortunately we couldn’t find any, everything is off season already. But a fisherman lends us his maps and we can bring em back next year on our way back. Unser Papier-Seekarten reichen nur bis Mölle. Ein neues Backup muss also her, aber bisher konnten wir keine auftreiben. Saison vorbei. Ein Fischer übergibt uns netterweise seine alten Seekarten. Wir können sie nächstes Jahr auf dem Rückweg wieder zurückbringen!
On we go to the Kullen peninsular. The Mountains are calling. Our dingy gets towed. Dann gehts weiter Richtung Kullen-Halbinsel. Die Berge locken uns! Das Beiboot im Schlepptau.
Just outside of Mölle we are greeted by the locals. Kurz vor dem Hafen von Mölle erwartet uns schon das Begrüßungskommando.
Lizzy is the only guest boat in the harbor. Soo much free docking space just for us! Die Lizzy ist das einzige Gast-Segelboot im Hafen! Ein Hafen für uns alleine 🙂
Alle bettelnden Enten kommen auch sogleich längsseits bei uns.

After a snorkel in the morning we wander off towars the light house. Nach dem Schnorcheln am Vormittag wandern wir bis an die Spitze der Halbinsel.
Wandering on fairy tale paths. Wir gehen fantastische Wege…
… and through a wicked forest! Ther weather even gave us the feeling of going through a rainforest. … vorbei an noch fantastischeren Bäume! Und dank des Wetters gab es sogar Regenwald-Feeling.
Auf der Spitze der Halbinsel verrichtet der Leuchtturm seinen Dienst.
Near the light house there’s a small nature museum,, the Naturum. Featuring a small aquarium with one of Dine’s favorite fish, the Dragonet. Am Leuchtturm liegt das Naturum, ein kleines Museum über das Naturschutzgebiet Kullen. Es gab sogar ein kleines Aquarium mit Dines Lieblingsfisch: dem Leierfisch!
In the forest the autuum has sprung in the best of colors! Im Wald war dann endgültig der Herbst ausgebrochen in tollen Farben!
Yummie! Mushroomrisotto! Yummie! Waldpilzrisotto!
During the summer the harbor is supposed to be packed several boats deep. However we stayed three days and only had a single neighbor. Before we leave we exchange some useful tips since they were headed south and we want to go further north. In der Ferienzeit soll der Hafen in Mölle ja seeeehr voll sein. Wir bleiben drei Tage und haben nur einmal Nachbarn mit Südkurs und wir tauschen praktische Tipps aus, bevor es weiter geht.
